We search the internet daily for new books and recommendations, then we evaluate and categorize each book. BookAuthority is used by millions of readers worldwide, and has been featured on CNN, Forbes, and Inc. The site drives the sale of over 100,000 book copies (nearly $2M in sales) every year.

BookAuthority operates through a fully automated process. Our AI and algorithms scan the internet, analyze recommendations, and determine which books are featured. To maintain impartiality, we have no editorial control and cannot manually add, feature, or review any books. Therefore, we do not review books and cannot accept any book feature requests.

We scour the internet daily for books and book recommendations. Then, we evaluate and rate the books based on data points such as expert recommendations, user reviews, reader sentiment, and popularity. Finally, we organize the books by subject and compile useful book lists, featuring the most recommended books in any given subject. BookAuthority drives nearly $2M in book sales every year. Therefore, by being featured on one of our lists, you may see a significant increase in book sales. Being featured on BookAuthority is not permanent. Millions of books are published yearly, and as a result, we have to revise our lists with new books and recommendations continually. Since there's only a limited number of books we can feature, it means that books are typically featured for a few months or years, before being replaced by other books. But worry not - just like the Oscars or the Time Magazine, if your book was featured in previous years but isn't featured anymore, you can continue and use the BookAuthority badge you previously received to celebrate your achievement. You get to keep your bragging rights. Note that we will not accommodate requests to reinstate books that were previously featured.

We pull book data directly from Amazon. In some cases, for a particular book, the link, title, author info, image, or description may be out of date. Unfortunately, since we have thousands of books on the website, we cannot accommodate requests to correct book or author details on the site, as updates are done automatically over time.
